Our freshly washed and waxed 2016 VW Passat VR6

Y'all:

With the rains pretty much over I gave Sue's 2016 Passat VR6 some attention. Preparation was nothing more than a wash. Collinite 915 for the wax and 303 on the tires.

61K. I love the bark the VR6 makes on a cold start. The DSG smoothness and quickness still amazes me.

Thanks. Within a week or two of buying it I put H&R "OEM Sport" springs and Bilstein B6s on it, plus of course the BBS SX 19-inch wheels.

Very nice indeed. I have a 2016 SE 1.8 that I really like. Black on black. Gets compliments routinely. I'm envious of your v6 model with the DSG. I test drove an Rline with 19s. Ride was tough harsh for my tastes. Enjoy your beautiful Passat

"Snarl", a good description. That motor definitely barks and roars to life during a cold start. Nice sounding starter motor too. Standing blindfolded by the exhaust you'd think it was a really, really expensive engine in something exotic. I've told a couple of friends over the years to "stand back by the exhaust, listen to this thing snarl back to life". They're always surprised.
