overpaid?

I think each profession deserves its own thread. Let's make a partition between us based on what caste (oops, I means profession) we are from and start the hostility against each other!

This got to be the best thing since food fight.

I agree, why pay them something like 100-130k a year when you can just outsource to India or China for only $40k a year?

Oh, we ask them to do it for free because they can sell their source code to our competitors too.

I'll give you a hint: if it is above average, it is overpaid.

I don't think Teachers are overpaid. My Father has non US Masters and US Masters degree. He often spends time doing work after work hours, makes bunch of print out for his own expense, buys notepads and pencils, pens for kids, so there will be no excuse "I forgot my notepad, or I lost my pen". And kids are annoying, going crazy not listening and so on, it's hard to control them.

What about RNs? Some of them have only an associate's degree and make over $30/hr and the US can't afford health insurance

. Let's cut the pay in half or 2/3rds and that will fix everthing

I know how much politicians are paid, but how do you know how much prostitutes are paid?

The POTUS make 400K a year before all the book deals and benefits and fames. I think that's way too much, we should make sure the future POTUS make only average salary like 50k a year, so should the prostitutes.

On a second though, maybe we should make sure they both do it for free!!!

Looking at knowledge, education and skills requirements as your basis, it would have to be coal miners.

That being said, I don't begrudge them a single cent, as I would not do their job in a pink fit.

Let's face it the answer is anybody that makes more than the person does and that they don't believe is worth it. However the person is worth every penny and more. Solved.

I know one Lady who recently became RN in 2 years(accelerated Bachelor program)and it's her 2 degree after masters(non medical). She was studying day and night for 2 years, literally. Start pay is 23 in hour. But I think she deserved it. She also used to be a nurse in Germany when she was young.

Teachers are overpaid?
Tell that to my older son who is earning an MS just so that he can teach high school math/science.
You and I lack the skills and training in advanced math, organic and inorganic chemistry as well as the required skills in education to teach bright high school kids math and chemistry, but I'd bet that you and I both make more than my son will.
Try learning something about what you're posting about before posting it.

Agree about politics. I can sit and bla bla bla all day too, and sign papers and make speeches and agreements. But i don't think I would enjoy it.

I was going to say the same for big shot CEOs. I'll bet they could be outsourced for cheaper. Lots of PhDs in India.
