Oil with best anti-wear for Chevy 3.6 timing chain protection?

The best thing is short oil change intervals. 3k-5k mile OCI. That’s it. You do not need any special boutique oils. You’re wasting your money if you do buy expensive oils.

Just use regular full synthetic oils you can easily find at local Walmarts. They are perfectly fine, as long as you change them out every 5k miles. API SP’s are perfectly fine and more than adequate for a n/a gm 3.6, as long as the oil change interval is reasonable like 5k miles, instead of 7500 or 10,000.

That’s the secret to making any engine last a long time: short oil change intervals.

Bungee cords stretch, timing chains elongate. Lack of frequent oil change discipline increases abrasives in the lube. This wears the rollers, the chain lengthens, all the predictable problems follow.

Sometimes I think the timing belt design is better.
Boils down maintenance. Just change the oil every 3-5k miles.
