Well, that only tells you how Revzilla rips people off.
Here's the same oil at $89 for 4L / 4.2 qt / 134 oz. with free shipping. Which is 67 cents per ounce for pure racing oil.

There is nothing racing about Mobil 1 10W-40 4T, except the label marketing. So don't expect their prices to be even close.

I have a 2025 Honda CRF300L Rally. I just had my Suspension done and they changed the oil for me. It’s a big off-road shop and a Beta and Gas Gas Dealer. I only have about 340 miles on it as I’ve only done fairly short rides. Planning a longer trip that would take me over the 600 mile initial break in, so did it now. This model typically uses 10w-30. They put in Liqui Moly 10w-50 4T Synthetic. Is that going to cause a major issue or is that a good choice?

What's the basis/background that the Mobil has nothing racing about it, other than name? What about Motul has a better claim to that from what you're saying?

I would suspect you have analysis to show common metrics were Motul outperforms Mobil 1 10w40 4T? I have posted analysis for M1, I can't recall if you have posted for your use of Motul?

I cannot tell which one will outperform, it depends on the bike. I'm just reading what the PDS says and also everyone around me uses it in high performance bikes, including track use. I don't have a high performance bike to use this oil.
I can tell you without any analysis that this oil is much better that's why is double the price of the Mobil 1 10W-40. If it's too much money for you that's a different thing but it doesn't mean that the Mobil is better oil.

I'm not making any inferences to whether it's too much money for me. When I say it's ridiculously priced, that's a fact.

You cannot tell it's a better oil because it's double priced. Provide data to show metrics of additive package, viscosity, TBN over 5,000 mile ocis, unless there are any manufacturer's recommendations for oil change intervals.

It's not ridiculously priced. Full synthetic oils are between $15 and $20 a quart anyway. And that one is most likely shipped from France.
I can only try it in my 2-stroke bike but probably in several years because currently I have Valvoline and Mobil 1 oils. If you have 4-stroke bikes and you never tried it it's on you.

Price just recently went up, probably due to the base oil shortage issue.

4 seasons (5 races per season) I run on a TT-F3 Japan rules full kit bike Motul 3000 10/40 mineral

the bike on development was blood from stone especially on compression / crankshaft , and limiter, and etc etc

we just change clutch discs, brake pads, tires and suspension service, spark plugs and oil/oil filter
on engine just valve adjustments on all this seasons (no gearbox issues, no piston problems, con rods…)

the biggest improvement on that old 400s was that comes from factory with oil cooler beneath water cooler, and we just add wings from pvc that surround the water & oil cooler to pressurize the air on the fins.

oil temps was monitored better from the stock form of the bike on city driving.
