But to answer, Let's see... A SUPERCHARGED engine on 49 cent a quart oil did GREAT on that UOA.

Don't worry about the grade change. The engine will not.

The important thing is that he changed the oil.

If you want to quote me, You'll see that I've always said that in Forcefed engines, run what the MFG says in the manual which is normally a Syn.

His UOA proves that todays Conventional oils can protect most engines.

I had no measurable difference in mileage between Amsoil 10w30 and Shell Rotella T Synthetic 5w40 in my Jeep 3.7L liberty. YMMV.
