Oil pressure sensor leak - replace or not?

FACET is italian manufacturer since 1946.

not chineese one. I live in Europe, we do not have nappa. I will ask KIA dealer for original sensor but I will fit this one and check it regulary

I always thought Facet was Spanish, for some reason. I'd use it.

Do not use teflon tape.

Use the special sender socket to change it-otherwise you may crack the plastic on it (I've done it).

I am wondering can it leak because of too frequent oil changes? I change oil every 5.000KM (instead of 15.000)?

Leave it go, it could get worse and lose enough oil to seize the engine. Change it out now and forget the teflon tape or pipe dope. I have never used it and changed out plenty of these leaky switches, they are junk and do not hold up to the job. . NONE ever leaked past the threads.
