I introduced my 03 Mustang with 70,000 m. here in April and got some good suggestiions for oil. Time now for a change and I am trying to make a decision. Car will rack about 3000+ miles a year and experience -30 temps on occasion, typically short trips. My wife's Hummer made the same trek using 0w30 M1 having the oil changed at one year(before the olm went off).
I am thinking about the same oil and interval for the Stang. Also considering PYB 5w20 at twice a year but am open for suggestions.
Thanks

I would think the same M1 AFE 0w30 would work fine, changed once a year. I assume you can get it out on the highway periodically so the oil comes up to temp? (and burns off contaminants)

I'd run M1 0W-20

Good call. Get the M1 AFE 0w20 in that case.

Thought about the 20 and it isn't out of the picture. These engines do well with 20 or 30 as many claim.
