Neighbor/ family friend has a 5 year old cub cadet mower with Kawasaki engine. I’m thinking it takes a 3614 Fram filter. I did bring few Donaldson filters that cross to that filter #

Also, no manual with this mower; what oil grade is spec’s?

Thank You

Any type of thirty or forty weight oil will do and a Champ, ST, Fram or similar filter in 3614, 51394, 4967, fl910, or pf1233 size will work great.

My OPE all has either 10w-30 or 15w-40 in it right now.

Keep it full and change it regularly and it will run a long time.

Had a guy over yesterday for lawnmower maintenance and we tried to put on a PL10241 (Equivalent to the 3614.) I was sure it would fit on a Cub Cadet XT1 LT46. But he called me over and showed steering linkage hitting it on moderate right turns. Had to swap it out and put on an Amsoil EA15K53 which is about 0.7" shorter.

That's a common issue with many tractor style riders.

I have the exact same mower and have to run a shorty filter also for the same reason. Currently running a Lube-Finer PH3656.

Best value shorty OPE filter on Amazon is the Ecogard SE-1 oil filter for under $5.
