Oil Filter 1970 Corvette LT-1

Best? Many people love the Fram Ultra, but just about anything is fine. Motorcraft makes a good filter for a good price. Wix/Napa Gold is good. Baldwin is good.

If you're worried about engine life then make sure the air cleaner is well sealed, the carburetor is in good shape and the exhaust crossover in the intake manifold is open. Dust injestion and fuel washing down the bores kills engines faster than a cheap oil filter. Don't forget the thermostat!

Any filter from a major name brand company. As mentioned the most important filter is the air filter and a sealed intake.

They are still Non E-Core PF1218 Delco Filters around...

I would get something that matches the engine block.

If you can't find anything, go WIX or Napa Gold (black cans).
