The old 1991 100 I-5 I sold to my friend has a leaking oil cooler. Oil temps never get above 80c so I want to get rid of this thing rather than replace it. It is connected with approx 3/4" braided flex hose and I don't know what the connectors are. Anyone have any idea what type thread and size the connectors might be? We will be far from the store. so I want to bring a few pieces with me to fit it together. If I get the right 90' male elbow, it should just bolt right together. Ideas?

Hmmm, I've been wanting to do the same thing to the pathetic little leaking trans cooler "loop" on my 9-5.

I found the doghouse-style oil cooler listed for $250 new for $60. New specialized gaskets were $.50c, I was willing to try just new gaskets, but dude said to just get the new cooler.

Brian, do you use autohausaz.com? Cheap.
