Happy Holiday to all.

I'll be changing the oil soon in my wife's 1998 Infinity QX4 93000 on the clock running fine. I'm thinking about going from regular dino to Max Life 5w30. Mostly using Castrol/Pennzoil 5w30 prior to that. What do you guys think, good choice?

Thanks

I'm having a hard time believing 3.9 quarts for a 3.3L V6 . . . I'd force feed that engine 5 quarts of Maxlife if it were mine.

I know what you mean. I always put 4 quarts in, brings it to the full mark. You should see how small the oil filter is (Fram/Supertech #7317)

Happy Holiday to you!

Yeah the 7317 is small, that filter fits on my streetbike and is kinda tiny.

But ST filters get the job done for 3-5K intervals.

Oh yeah, maxlife would be a good oil to run.

I really looked at the ST7317 same part number as the Frams? In my opinion, the ST looked like a better filter than the stanard Fram (orange filter)is heavier and looks to have superior materials (anti-drain back valve/filter media/ price)

Merkava, weren't you chewed out on another board for recommending overfills?

Ruby, it is fall, it also time to reconsider your Delo/MC/Rotella choices for your pickup 8).
