I run long OCIs in my '07 Sivic Si with Amsoil sig series 0w30 with lab proven great results. I recently used half a can of Amsoil Power Foam just to keep things clean at 100k miles. I fed it through the throttle body as instructed. I didn't see much smoke, so I guess things were pretty clean. I don't see why I would need to change the oil. The Foam doesn't even come in contact with the oil. The oil only has 6k miles on it and I'd like to go at least twice that. Do I really need to change the oil?

If I was going to use Power Foam the way you did I would do it at the end of the OCI and change my oil after the procedure. If any made its way into the crankcase it will probably flash off, but why take chances. Next time do it at the end of the OCI.

^^Agreed with Joel_MD. I just did the same procedure about three months ago and I'm about 4,000 miles from my next oil change still. As long as you used it correctly you shouldn't have issues.

Would be curious to see how/if the lab results are any different at the end of your normal OCI!
