I just sneezed with a mouth full of half chewed popcorn. Cought it with a hanky, otherwise my keyboard would have been ruined.....

That one will have to go directly to the laundry basket. What a mess!!!

At least you were alone and didn't do it in the middle of a crowded movie theater. The fall out zone would have been substantial.


You need to develop advanced snacking techniques if you intend to handle these events in the future.

May I recommend:

The "quick swallow"
The "two hands clamped over mouth"
The "one hand clamped over mouth" if other hand is holding a mega size carbonated soft drink. This is less effective, but requires more skill so that the beverage remains stable during the 80 mph exhaust sequence.

All these are done with a mandatory "body bracing" action to reduce bull in china shop incidents from speading to the surrounding area.

Good show on the hanky (hankie?). Next time ..you may not be so lucky ..so, you had better practice.

Sooner or later, everyone has a keyboard accident.
I have a new still in the box keyboard near the desktop just in case. Can't do that with the laptop. Have to stop snacking while surfing.

Ah....I topped this one last night. Long story short, I brushed my teeth with the shower tile grout cleaning (tooth)brush. 24 hours later, still alive.

Well it all starts with normal brushing of the teeth in the shower (I don't shave in the shower, though). I usually remove my tooth brush when done showering.

Concurrently we leave a grubby tooth brush in the shower for any stray grout grub.

I somehow left the good brush in the shower, it got knocked down, picked up, mixed up....and lovely wife deposits grout brush in my sink brush holder.....there was no chemistry on the brush, and I always rinse my brush first. I was more worried about green teeth or something

I spilled a beer on my keyboard and it still works fine. Definition of alcohol abuse: if you spill a drink or leave one behind on the bar.
