Not exactly the best Bronson movie! That would be Once Upon a Time in the West, in my opinion.Reminds me of the Giggler in Death Wish 3
If the dentistry doesn't work out for some reason you can always fall back on arm wrestling.Out for dinner drinking an Old Fashion at Wind Creek Casino just before seeing Puscifer last month.

Yeah, I'm 6'5" and about 275 lbs and an avid lifter. I haven't arm wrestled in a long time but I think I could at least put up a decent fight in a match! If the dentistry doesn't work out for some reason you can always fall back on arm wrestling.![]()
I bet. You may have to grow your beard into the kind of menacing-looking shrub that's all the rage in arm wrestling.Yeah, I'm 6'5" and about 275 lbs and an avid lifter. I haven't arm wrestled in a long time but I think I could at least put up a decent fight in a match!![]()
Probably. Official family oral history is a ton of Irish on Dad's side (immigrated during the potato famine), and a bunch of German on Mom's (with some Native American for flavor). But you know how those Vikings got around in the upper European region! And Mom's family is all Illinois and Iowa based, there were/are a ton of Scandinavian immigrants in that area as well. So, while I interpreted the Viking comment as a light-hearted beard joke, I actually wouldn't doubt that there's Viking in my brother and I one bit. For that matter, the men on Mom's side do all sport magnificent facial hair from time to time. My grandfather **** near declined a life-saving heart operation because they had to shave his beard to operate.LolYou're a bit of a Viking, aren't you?
I wasn't joking and the beard had nothing to do with my guess. Going by my complexion, eye color, and most of all my family history, I have likely at least some Viking ancestors.Probably. Thanks for inspiring the trip down memory lane, it made me smile, man! And laugh, even!![]()
Oh cool! I’ve known a few folks out that way over the last 10 years that I’ve been in the Nashville area. That's terrifying, and I'm glad she made it through! Meningitis is terrifying for full grown adults with fully-functioning immune systems, I can't even imagine. Bless you all, and great looking family!
I had to take my second child to VUMC Children's when he was a month or so (growth that turned out to be nothing, thankfully). As a young father, I was beside myself and felt utterly powerless/helpless. They have great docs there (and all across Vandy, really!) I'm about the same distance as you from Nashville, just the other direction in Watertown, south of Lebanon off of 40! Great area to live in, Middle Tennessee, been here my whole life (originally from Cheatham County, the Pleasant View/Joelton area on Hwy 41A. Parents still there on the land we grew up on.)
Lemme see if I have a decent pic of me...Found one. Me the day after I turned 38 (Nov 2018). Haven't gotten any prettier!View attachment 166140
I'd prefer Layne Staley, but Scott works. Loved them both 'back in my day'. Lolsucks they're both gone now...Oh cool! I’ve known a few folks out that way over the last 10 years that I’ve been in the Nashville area.
Glad your kiddo turned out to be OK.
You remind me of a musician…just trying to figure out which one!
Scott Weiland, perhaps?

Here is a picture of me from last night at the Pittsburgh Pirates game vs the San Francisco Giants in Pittsburgh. Pictures of the game and stadium posted in the random photo thread. Parents requested I don’t post their picture with me here lol. This is a rare occasion you’ll see me smile for a picture I hate pictures but when it involves baseball I’m all in. I absolutely love baseball and I really enjoyed the game despite the Giants winning. I think my parents were bored but I paid for it so they can’t complain lol. I spent over $100 on food there for the three of us so I skipped going to the team store luckily i bought me and dad hats ahead of time. The stadium is beautiful and gives a great view of the city. I also seen the Steelers stadium as well from a distance. But can’t get inside. I took over 100 pictures just at the stadium and of the fireworks that followed the game. I have to give props to dad for putting up with Pittsburgh traffic lol. It’s hectic almost as bad as New York City but not quite. It’s stop and go on the interstate and feels like forever trying to get somewhere but it was all worth it for the game. I’ll enjoy the rest of the week off and we are staying tonight in Pittsburgh too then I’ll go back home for the rest of the time and fix my vehicles lol. Maybe next year I can talk him into taking me to Atlanta or Philadelphia which is where I had planned on going but traffic is way worse in those places from what I hear but both look to be nice cities. This is my third MLB game first one was in Cincinnati second was in New York and now this one in Pittsburgh. I can definitely tell the attitude of people up here is different than Virginia, here everyone acts like why are you telling me thank you for. You don’t realize that as a kid but now that I’m older and visiting here I can tell you they are different but it’s their culture I guess.
And 35 according to all the people who have asked how many kids I haveDude looks Amish![]()
