Looked at a truck at an auction and the math does not make sense to be.

245K Miles
2900 idle hours
800 drive hours

How can one drive 245,000 in only 800 hours? That comes out to 306.25 miles per hour. And no I did not confuse the two figures.

I was not interested in buying it, so I never watched it. I was just cruious.

Also, I do not beleive you can tamper with these values, even during service.

So I definately don't have it wrong. I just can't understand this. Even if the cluster failed which these are known to fail, it would not be like this.

Is there a way to protect the memory value? My current jalopy truck has accurate hours that make sense. Want to keep it that way.
