My last purchace at AAP, I asked the sales rep behind the couter if I could have a couple of OC stickers and he gave me an arms length. This guy was 6'4"

I don't use stickers. I have a book that I keep all records of all maintainance that I do on each of my cars. Been doing that for since the early 80s.

I do this. Very easy.

tig why don't you go 15,000 miles on M1. 10k is nothing in a Focus. Those engines are easy on oil.

I use stickers and an Excel Spread Sheet for each vehicle. I've been doing that since the days of the IBM PS1 computer I had. At the end of the year I print the sheet. Prior to the PS1 I used a book.

I keep it in my computer but like to have the sticker in the car so I can plan my weekend when it's due and the sticker makes for easy reference.

As for oil changes, each engine gets a change every 10K. The Fusion at 35-45-55 and so on. The Focus at 30-40-50. Easy to remember.

And how did you accomplish that? I have sent three emails to the email address they list on their website for stickers and I have not gotten a reply or received any. Darn third party vendors.

No it's a sticker but it peels off the windshield easy enough with no residue.

It's a shipping address label. I can't remember the number off hand and it's in a box now because I'm moving apartments soon but all my local staples carry them.

They are like 1.5 or 2" tall

+1 i have a yellow legal pad on a nail in the garage, anything i do to anything in my garage, truck cars, bikes, mowers, small engine (weed-eaters power washer) i write down.

ive ben doing this for probably 6 years now.. so much easier to just look back at my own records. no guess work asking myself if i did something or not..

I did it last year, sent Pennzoil an email, and asked for them. They had an email address to request stickers IIRC. About a week later I had about 200 stickers mailed to me.

Maybe they like me? LOL

+1 Nice reminder without going to the book. Free at AAP, AZ, and O'R. Write with a Sharpie pen.

Flip Down Sun Visor. Stick on Post-It note. Write date and mileage at each oil change. Also write on filter with permanent marker as backup.

Works fine on old vehicles with no trip odometer.
