I just started a test post with the subject "TRIJICON MRO" which worked just fine.

Are you sure you can't create the new thread? There is nothing about your account that would preclude you from doing so.

This is just a notification that a similar thread may exist, but you should still be able to make a post.

Johnny,

The reason your thread title was rejected is because of the special character "|" It's a pipe, which has very significant meaning to a Linux/UNIX systems and isn't allowed to be in thread titles.

I think that vertical line was just his cursor.

BTW my alerts are still not consistent but I cannot detect any pattern...

No matter what I put in there it says I have a subject already posted and it will not let me scroll down or post anything!

Try logging out of BITOG, clear all cookies and log back in.
