I've flown a couple of helicopters. You posted before I saw your post, I apologize.
My Uncle always did tell me, a Helicopter is like throwing a rock up into the air.. @Astro14 , you are undoubtedly a pilot and plane pro. What are your thoughts as to helicopters? And, any experience?
Don’t think I’ve seen one quite that advanced lol. Man I can’t even remember how to use a lathe it’s been since 9th grade lol.

I use it still every day. I imported back then myself from Taiwan.
I sold them back in the day. Its actually very simple. Still has a Dayton motor with no service since 97
I prefer CNC lathes with live tooling
My game is different.I prefer CNC lathes with live tooling![]()
We generally don’t do big orders, 2-25 is the norm. I hope to one day get a lathe and a Bridgeport at my house though…. need to add onto the garage first thoughMy game is different.
Everything I do is one off and a cnc is useless for that.
No, not pilot, but when I was younger, I was a jet fighter enthusiast...had several books on jet fighters/aircraft...knew just about all the specs (at that time) on the F-14, F-15 (favorite), F-16, F/A-18, MIGs, Mirages, etc. (Also, saw all the movies...Top Gun, Iron Eagle, etc.) Was, at the time, thinking about going into the Air Force, but didn't. I had a chance to go to Embry-Riddle in Florida, but family didn't have much money, so ended up at UT Knoxville with an engineering (electrical) degree there. But never really lost interest in aircraft. You posted before I saw your post, I apologize.

Looks like more snow again tonight guys...Good having friends that owe ya’ for vehicle repairs. Older friend of me and Colton (my farmer friend) stopped over just as I was getting home. He has older Ford dually with big plow and cinder spreader. Took him all of 20 minutes he said. I gave him a few beers and some oil for his next oil change I’ll do on his truck. Would have took me very long time to hand shovel all this out.
Maybe for you, rain for my area tonightLooks like more snow again tonight guys...
My kids out cleaning off the Jeep and shovelling yesterday:
