The worst part is there no hint of antilock brakes on this 1995 International 4900. In passenger cars minimum you have rear ABS. Much worse on a flatbed with no weight on the back so you're constantly locking up the rear duals which makes for some sketchy braking, ie having to leave more than 4 seconds of space even in downtown driving.
 
Think we are going to upgrade our running boards:

They tuck up much closer to the rocker and just look a lot better.
So, went for a slightly different, more rugged style than the OE one I showed above. They are still OE, but they are more of an "off road" style:
