One other thing I would recommend if you have plans on keeping this auto for alot of years to come.

Sorry to change the subject.

If your oil filter is the metal spin on type?

Attach a couple of these to your oil filter to attract and hold {ANY} metal particles.

Mind you these magnets are Very Strong. I got the idea from Magnefine and their transmission filter. You will not believe the amount of metal particles these magnets attract and hold.

Just something else to think about.

Update: walked into Pep boys yesterday and found PP and Pureone for $29+tax. Easily changed last night. Nice to work on my own car again!

That's the way to do it, those oil change specials can be a great deal, especially if you can find a manufacturer's coupon to throw in and take a few more bucks off.

Keep an eye on the Sale/Rebate/Promotion forum for good deals, and also check ads from local stores for specials too. Stock up when you find a good deal and get yourself a "stash" going. Then you have it on hand when it's time to do an oil change. Some of the deals you can end up paying next to nothing for the oil or even end up having it be FAR. (Free After Rebate)
