usually in China. There are lots of items that don't qualify for prime - usually from third party retailers...
Everything? Now everything is 3 to 6 weeks shipping? What's going on?
It'll have the prime logo next to the product title. So how do you tell if it's a Prime item or not?
Tell me about it. I still haven't received a backrest that a fellow rider shipped to me via USPS over 3 weeks ago. A rep from there assures me they haven't lost it, but I'll believe that when it gets delivered...Ive seen a week delay at times before shipment! Crazy world at the moment. But, I understand and have learned patience.
I went to several of my local auto parts stores today looking for Rain-X for plastic. None of them had this stuff in stock, so I looked it up on Amazon. Amazon has it, and it says free shipping for Prime members (I'm assuming this means it's a Prime item). So I click on the product and it says delivery May 27th - Jun 23rd, and it says usually ships in 1 to 2 MONTHS. Why would the shipping time be this long if it's a Prime item?
Are you a PAYING Prime member or just use the free trials? I assume the paying ones get better treatment. When I went to cancel my one month free trial at the end of it, they offered to extend it for another month free. I don't use it much, but why pay for it if you don't have to.This was one of the perks for being a prime member...1 or 2 day free shipping.
There's a difference between a Prime item, and receiving free shipping because you're a Prime member. I get that doesn't make sense, but that's how it is. The attached photo is a screenshot of some of the product selection I got by searching "Wix". You can see the item with the red box is a Prime item, and gives a delivery date. The item with the green item isn't a Prime item (no Prime logo) and doesn't give a shipping date, but I still get free shipping as a result of being a Prime member. The green-boxed item would likely be very slow to ship, like what you're experiencing.I went to several of my local auto parts stores today looking for Rain-X for plastic. Walmart didn't have it either, and the guys at the car parts stores said they've never seen, or heard of it...Because it is out of stock, just like the parts stores. Probably on a manufacturer backorder, maybe Walmart or similar has it.
