No brand 90 without Ethanol gasoline for G.D.I.

You're still getting PEA but they don't call it by a trade name, but most generic unbranded gas is likely not got a top tier level of detergent in it, only EPA minimum while branded top tier fuel will have above the EPA minimum.

Not all detergent additives contain PEA. I've even heard some claims that most don't. EPA and Top Tier testing procedures are solely about performance, and not about chemical content. Here's a patent for detergent additive technology that uses a "Mannich reaction" detergent.

Now there are all sorts of variables. Afton Chemical refers to many of its detergent additives as "scalable", where they can be used at an EPA minimum required standard up to a higher concentration to meet Top Tier requirements.

HiTEC® 6590D’s patented technology was designed to meet the challenges of direct injection engine technology, while continuing to deliver excellent performance in the traditional port fuel injection platform. A fully scalable additive with EPA and TOP TIER™ certification, HiTEC® 6590D delivers powerful keep-clean and clean-up performance at cost effective treat rates.

CITGOs' are disappearing as well . Top Tier is getting fewer and need to travel 15 miles or so to get it . Even further for T.T. w/o Ethanol . :(

We have a 90 E0 fuel here in central Indiana. Get go station. I have to fill my cans today for my mower and OPE, snow blower etc. I’ll have to look to see how’s it’s labeled

I have changed my feelings on E10 gas. All the guys that run big boost and big power numbers on BMWs run E85 without issue. I’m sure E10 is fine. Just make sure it is Top Tier. I always use PetroCan E10 94 octane, which is Top Tier, except for the tank before putting the car away for the winter, which I use Shell E0 91.

E10 is perfectly fine in just about everything except maybe 2 stroke small engines, in 4 cycle small engines it should be fine just try to find ethanol free for winter storage, but in a car there's not much reason to go out of the way to get ethanol free.

With a 3750 oil change, I dump a bottle of techron in the tuscon, and call it a day.

Wife fills it with Shell 87 weekly because its right next to the house.

Got 90 non E unbranded for both cars . Added Techron to the '18 Accent w/ 1.6 Ltr. ( G.D.I.) . Plan to do O.C. for the Accent in a week or 2 . Depends on weather , unpredictable this time of year . Will refill both with an Top Tier gas . SUNOCO or VALERO w/E10 .
