1) After learning that we can install the Hardrace 28mm sway bar on our 2020 Transit Connect, I thought best to add this tip/trick to make it so the sway bar doesn't squeak as often or not at all. Adding teflon tape around the bar at the bushing contact point will create a smoother surface so that the bushing doesn't squeak when there some up/down or side to side travel of the sway bar. Plus using non-petroleum grease will help with any squeaking.

2) Ford list the sway bar end links as being near 13'' long.. I found that an end link measuring 11'' inches long offers a better handling, more responsive steering and suspension for the van. Cross reference parts to see if you can locate a shorter or longer end link that works with your application.

3) I've been using about 4 oz of the Gumout Engine tune in my gasoline. But I've also been using a teaspoon of the engine tune in the oil.

4) lastly and most important, Ford PDF listed the van as being a 2.0L gasoline/flex van, yet searching the van, Ours doesn't have the yellow filler hole. The only thing yellow is the main connector at the tank. I contacted Ford an asked if our van is listed as gas only or as a flex even when the PDF doesn't really say.. Ford replied back saying our 2.0L GDI can run on Flex, gas or a mix of the two fuels. However when we first learn about the van could be a flex but without the tell tell signs.. we tried the E85 and got a lean code. Afterward, we've scaled back and now run E40 without any issues. If one is unsure what E40 is.. it's a mix of 60% gas and 40% ethanol. Stations don't have "E40" so I've had to mix this on the spot. However, several stations have been running bad or poor fuels, and I've had to return to the BP fueling stations. This weekend we'll be running over to Fort Meade for top off my fuel can with the eFuels.
