Nissan Titan Oversized Amsoil filter

Just picked up a 2012 Nissan NV 2500 van for the business, and i would like to find an oil filter larger than what is spec'd.

I know there's a reference sheet on here somewhere, but i can't seem to find it.

This uses the same oil and air filter as the Titan.

EA15K13 Is what Amsoil has listed; and it's sure a small filter.

What is your planned O/FCI?

Do you have data that shows the listed filter will not suffice to safely protect, or is this a "feeling" you have in your gut?


Why not ask Amsoil if they can recommend a larger fitler? After all, they are the ones who will warrant (or choose not to warrant) your uncharted application.

If you are under warranty, stick with the cataloged recommendations for your vehicle. If a problem arises under warranty with a non cataloged filter giving problems, both the vehicle maker dealership and the aftermarket filter maker can deny warranty.

Play engineer once it is out of warranty.
