While it's designed for audiophiles, it would probably work for computing as well...

That is freakin' hilarious. The review comments are downright funny, though I suspect nearly all of them are from folks making fun of folks who would actually buy one.

Is Monster Cable making house wiring products now?

Ha, close! I'm pretty sure the "limited production run" of gold-plated outlets coincided with all of the noise over the "Pear Audio Cables". I'd provide a link, but it's impossible to find one without a lot of swearing... If you thought Monster Cable was overpriced, you need to check these out.

I'll hand it to the guys at PE, the $150.00 outlet is funny, as are a lot of the comments. I love the guy who recommends avoiding "outlet burn-in time" by simply wiring your stuff directly to the box. Sheer genius!

I'm pretty sure this keyboard is made by the same folks...

A fool and his money.....If you understand basic electronics you come to realize that these products are sold with the same pervasive psudoscience babble that infests the enviroweenie movement. I am especially "impressed" about how a 99 cent ccHinese AC plug sold for 100 bucks can "enhance the soundstage". What IS a soundstage, anyway. One of the most amazing high power low distortion audio systems I have ever heard was put together by an engineer who used ROMEX for speaker wire. "Wire is wire" , he said.
