Newbie question

Okay I have a 2007 Sport Trac with 4.0l v6. The manual specs are oil that meets WSS-M2C929-A. Does this spec mean synthetic oil? Or can I use dino oil? Thanks

That is just a Ford spec. Most, if not all name brand oils, conventional or synthetic, meet it.

Yep, and if they're spec'ing a 5-20 or 5-30 weight, MotorCraft is the cat's whiskers.
