Yes and no ... I doubt that non-carbon filters would get dirty and have the evenness of discoloration across the entire filter. But yes, a dirty filter could look quite similar.Maybe, but non-carbon filters can still look like the first one after awhile
From looking on Toyota's part site, it seems like they do offer both versions at the parts counter
87139-58010 is the charcoal
87139-YZZ37 is the white non-carbon version
