That’s unfortunate! I had a couple dents in a sheet of plywood I was hoping to use these to pull them!Super cheap suction cups from Amazon. The little yellow ones work surprisingly well!
However, I was really disappointed that my Warm Reminder (does that make anyone else need to pee?) informed me I won't be able to pull dents in 2x4s. Geesh....View attachment 327904

What is the issue with your two ton aluminum? Just curious. Yes, the $129 is a good price and the extended reach version is a bear in size so unless needed I'd avoid it too. Last time the Daytona 3T LP was $129 I bought that Pittsburgh version for $99...appears nearly identical and I like the muted tones so gray checked that box. Should serve you well!Daytona 3 ton, low profile, rapid pump jack. I have a 2 ton Daytona aluminum, but it wasn't quite doing the job. HF had this on sale through yesterday for ITC members for $129 ($70 off). I hear next month their 3 ton, long reach, low profile will be on sale for $100 off, but I don't need the extra reach or height.

The lifting height is just not quite enough unless I get everything aligned just right to use my 6 ton jack stands when lifting the 2025 Pilot using the center lifting point, which I use when swapping between all season and winter tires/wheels. It pretty much maxes out the 2 ton height. I probably should have gone higher capacity anyway. The 3 ton has an additional four inches of lift. The weight difference between them is 25 lbs. When I got the aluminum, I was trying to keep the weight to a minimum, as I had an old Allied 3.5 ton floor jack that easily weighed over 100 lbs. The new 3 ton weighs 79. I'm starting to feel my age. What is the issue with your two ton aluminum? Just curious.
That will be a nice upgrade. I looked at a lot of those when I was looking for a strut spring compressor.I stumbled on a Branick 7400 for $400 and barely used. I realize the 7600 is the latest greatest but I've been primarily using an ancient MST-580A which recently bent the arms on some GMT900 springs.
I did not realize how much the Branicks have grown:View attachment 328774
Once again my hydraulic cart to the rescue. And yeah, I may need to move the hose reel over!View attachment 328775
That old MST-580A was a real trooper. A great choice for a home garage if you mostly do smaller stuff. I hate to scrap it but it's time has come. When I got it (used) the upper thrust bearing was toasted and I had to cut a shoulder back .100" and then the 7200/7400 bearing could be used, and it worked great for years like that
The one I have is very heavy and a pain to get over the garage lip without scratching up the bottom of the frame. Also about double that price. I was not super impressed with the level of effort to raise my truck compared to the ancient Craftsman 3 ton I had that was leaking. The release mechanism is also borderline dangerous. To lock the jack, you can only barely rotate it after you feel resistance or it takes a lot of force to release and the vehicle will drop unsafely.Daytona 3 ton, low profile, rapid pump jack. You will get so much use outta that jack. Make sure you have extra quality jack stands to go with it! Only takes a second to throw one under the frame. I keep them on both sides of my garage, so here is no excuse not to use them.Daytona 3 ton, low profile, rapid pump jack. I have a 2 ton Daytona aluminum, but it wasn't quite doing the job. Thank you. I had two sets of older jack stands, the heaviest being Goodyear-branded, steel, 6-ton, which I use even when rotating tires. I decided to invest in and upgrade, so got a set of Bestool 4-ton stands. Reports are they are identical to ESCO 3-ton, but I'll believe the 4-ton number while working under the Pilot. You will get so much use outta that jack. Are those thin profile?
