Growing up, all I can afford was a 49 pcs Craftsmen tool kit or was it a 42 pc? Everything else I needed was either loan or borrowed. Now, I can afford tools. Thus, "you have too many tools".I rarely spin sockets by hand anymore. I've got the M12 Fuel High Speed ratchets in 1/4, 3/8, 1/4 ER, 3/8 ER, and the Insider.
Maybe I have too many tools?
CorrectThere is no such thing as too many tools.
I disagree . I have too many of some things . I have a couple of boxes of duplicate tools in a cabinet in my garage . I donated a tool box and some hand tools to a guy that runs an organization that lets neighborhood kids come in and learn how to repair bicycles . They sell the bikes and it helps to pay the rent on the building . The kids are learning some good mechanical skills instead of running the streets .There is no such thing as too many tools.
For the Tundra ATF fill, check out this video. He uses that very filler spout, replacing the tubing with 54" of 5/8" OD (1/2" ID) tubing from Home Depot. I used the same setup just a couple of weeks ago and did not spill a drop. It's gravity fed from the engine bay -- no pump needed.I’ve got a few additions the other day and some today.
Firstly I picked up a trans filler spout. It’s supposed to screw onto quart and gallon containers. I’ll be doing a drain and fill on my tundra transmission soon so this may help. I’ll do some more research for the best ways to refill. I may need a pump. This seemed like a deal at $5 from Walmart.
I also found a two piece set of insulated screwdrivers on clearance for $2.50. I’ll throw them in my electrical box and I’ll have them if needed.
My dad gave me a cordless rotary tool for my birthday. He usually makes a point to add a tool in any gift. He loves his. Cordless should be nice for several things but I’ve still got my trusty corded dremel for things that need a little more power.
