I am sorry to report first real test was not a success

. Maybe my ~3.5 year old 2.5a battery of unknown charge level was not up to it? Maybe the Alloy 21mm thin wall mag/lug socket was too light? But it did
not "zip" the lugs right off my 4WD Tacoma. FWIW: its only been ~6k miles, but they have not been touched since last October. Maybe that makes them extra stuck? IDK. I was able to "Hammer"the first few off, in 7 or 8 seconds. But seemed unnecessarily loud and did not want to annoy the neighbors. the one with the anti-theft adaptor just vibrated. So, out comes old faithful 18" breaker bar. All it needed was a little 1/4 turn"Creak" and it was off to the races again with the Metabo; no problem. Maybe that is the best course of action I can reasonably expect with a ~$100 small/medilum size 18v impact vs a 4,000 Lb 4wd.
I will say the little impact was very convenient doing the last 90% of the removal, and install was equally easy. The "Auto Torque" setting is cool.... stops ~ 60 or 70s Lbs, leaving me plenty of margin for the TW to 83 Lbs,
Next rotation should be way sooner than this go's 7 months (To include winter). I'll make sure the battery is 100% and try again.
QUESTION: ~30 minutes before trying to remove 24 lugs with the smallish 18v Metabo Impact I just came home from 90 minutes of stop and go to include a good amount of 65 MPH highway... Would these conditions make lug nuts harder to remove?
