New tool thread

Did I spend too much money today? Lol . I bought the pink ratchet because the support of breast cancer and because I don’t have a regular size 3/8 flex head at work. My dealer only got 5 of them this year he hasn’t sold a single one except this one. Well I should say he sold two today because my coworker loaded up on pink tools. Pink screwdrivers, a pink ratchet, pink anything available pretty much. Then the torx drivers I bought because I needed a good set of them. My Craftsman T30 gave me the ghost today on a Dodge Dart cabin air filter you can’t get a gun in there to use a bit so I was using the driver and the tip just gave out so yeah so that doesn’t happen again I bought these and if it does hand it to him and get a new tip. And I talked him out of a pocket screwdriver too haha. And my Power Blue screwdriver set came in and he walked in the shop with it and everyone hollered Blake your screwdrivers are here. Cause I don’t talk about anything but tools and the Snap-on truck . At least I got the torx which I feel was a need and you can’t ever have too many tools whether it’s screwdrivers, ratchets whatever. The torx 9 piece sets are on sale now for $189.

Gearwrench wobble extensions: Should have bought these long ago, very handy, will get some more in different lengths.

Sunex 1/4” Magnetic sockets: Ya these are also very handy. I will be getting a set of 3/8” also but doesn’t look like Sunex makes them however in 3/8” drive.

Good job. I finally got all my SK “steals and deals” order in. They cancelled one item. It was so cheap, I think they just didn’t want to give it for that price. It took months to get the wrench set, some came one wrench in a box. These were about $10 each, a big discount. I got about six sizes. One has a big cosmetic defect in the chrome, the blank was too rough in one area. will have to try and get it replaced, although they are not well staffed it seems. This wrench was fine. Now I am done buying tools. Not in the same age group as you are. I just like this style of short box wrench with offset and these new ones have better off corner loading than the old school ones. So I got them for a good price.

I have no idea what Stahlwille uses for an alloy but it is lighter and stronger going by the amount of stress I have put on some of them. +1 you will love these tools.

Used the Rover light today for doing a oil change under the truck. Worked really well, lots of light compared to the m18 flood light it replaced.

Only bought the right angle drill to get rid of the bulky corded one I already have.

Well went and picked this up today. The top box was in as well however it would not fit in the back of my Escape so tomorrow while I’m working my dad is going to pick it up in my truck for me. I would of went back today but it was 20 minutes before they closed. This is definitely going to help out as I am totally out of room. I want to get a cart too just have to finish paying all my debts off first.

I always have a pair of pink shirts or so and I have pink converse. Wife says it takes a real man to wear pink. Maybe it takes one to turn a pink wrench as well. One for you AM. No offense Trav.

No offense taken, just having a bit of fun with the kid. I would buy it myself for $10 and dye the handle black before anyone saw it, on second thoughts holy cow if the friggin paint came off, the hyena's I work with occasionally would wet themselves laughing and send me a pair of these. LOL
