Tekton haul arrived today. Two 20mm sockets deep and shallow 1/2 drive. Will be one step closer to completing my 1/2 rail at work. Also good for the Ford swollen lug nuts where the 19.5 is still too small and the 21 is too big. I’ve been really happy with my Tekton impact sockets for everyday use they don’t wear out fast like other brands. Also got the screwdriver sampler. I already know I like the hard handles better but for $10 I needed a number 2 screwdriver for my cart and the single was $7 so I just got both. Also will need a better set for the house eventually so I’ll use both of them and then decide to make sure I actually like the hard handles best. Then two big wrenches to complete my sets. I will definitely use the 27mm at work. I’ve borrowed it way more than three times lol so it was time to get my own. I have a Chinese Craftsman one at home but don’t trust it in a professional environment and it’s not very true to size like this one is. The 1 1/16 is to complete my SAE set will need that when I put the shocks on dads truck. Basically the same size as the 27 but you know we gotta have both lol 😂. That’s the only size I have used before that I don’t actually own at home or work.

regarding the tekton screwdrivers - i have a few of both handle styles. While I thought the hard handle would be preferred, turns out the comfort grip is my favorite of the two. Both are good though.

I have both the comfort grip and hard handle.

The comfort grip is easier. Which makes me feel younger.

As a Subaru mechanic I think you should own at least one Vessel #2 Phillips screwdriver. 🪛🪛🪛

Some new tools today. Just some to have as extras for common used stuff with the exception of the 11mm lol. I don’t have a long 8mm and really don’t want to pay Snap-on prices for them and my driver never has an individual long 8. I’ve heard good things about these Napa Carlyle ones. Also got an extra 14mm and 8mm socket as I use these all the time on everything I work on it seems and I don’t have any extra 6 points at work and can never find them at the pawn shop either. I wanted quality ones too. The 11mm DieHard will be my second Diehard tool I got it as a fill in for my set at the house because that’s another one I can’t find at the pawn shop. Didn’t find the shallow 1/4 drive 10mm I was looking for anywhere so I’ll go to AutoZone or Home Depot or somewhere later and get one. Reason for getting extras is I lost one the other day couldn’t find it then it turned up lol.

Harbor Freight 3 tier service cart-trying to hold off buying another tool box, the casters seem of good match for when I weight it down. Assembly was something I under-estimated, but I wasn't looking for a challenge today, so about 2 hours and watched Care Care Nut on YouTube.

Mayhew 32029 bolt breaker set, 1/2 and 3/8 drive as I don't have a torch set-up yet and always desperate for options in the rust belt. I put the socket on the 3/8's for an example. About $30 eBay. For those less familiar, used with an air hammer to break free rusty fasteners...I hope...seen the air bleeder one and thought I'd acquire that option. Air bleeder usually means have spare caliper on hand before breaking bleeder off.

Hantskop HT-5003 dual lens Inspection camera, side camera too, I pointed at the mount bolt for an example. $50 eBay. Also got 2 others on the way, one being a wireless wifi unit, and the other plugs into a USB port, about $30 each, just wanted options available as plumbing last week and didn't have that option.

Hart cordless air pump w/ 2ah battery and rotatory tool, pawn shop $30 each, just adding to the collection because the price being agreeable. Other picture is a little more of the same view.

I need more pliers like I need a kick in the nuts but I’ve been on a Channellock kick lately and came across these on sale for $25CAD ($18.85 USD) and couldn’t resist.

I have lots of Knipex, some snap-on and some Japanese pliers but it seems Channellock gives you a lot for the price and I love the wide handles.
