I ordered these from Tekton, US made. I've encountered a few times where they'd come in handy. I had some rewards points from them and decided to order the set. They should be here tomorrow. Angle Head Open End Wrench Sets, Metric.
Are those the ones they just released? They do look handy I only have one that I got at the pawn shop and it’s a Snap-on.I ordered these from Tekton, US made. I'm not sure when they were released. I liked that they're US made, and the 30/60 degree angles. Are those the ones they just released? They do look handy I only have one that I got at the pawn shop and it’s a Snap-on.
Oh ok cool. I definitely need to invest in some more I’ve used them many times in school for bigger hydraulic lines at weird angles.I'm not sure when they were released. I liked that they're US made, and the 30/60 degree angles.
Yea they got released a few months ago. I like Tekton tools and the way they do business. I was a Craftsman guy, but their new stuff is very low quality, so I've switched. Are those the ones they just released? They do look handy I only have one that I got at the pawn shop and it’s a Snap-on.
That’s what I thought I knew they were somewhat new. Yes I agree. The Craftsman is supposed to be coming back so hopefully it’s better than the Chinese stuff.Yea they got released a few months ago. I'm going to support Tekton with my money Craftsman was bought by investors that only want to turn a buck. Tekton is based in Detroit and designs builds and ships from there. Thats my defenition of an American company. That’s what I thought I knew they were somewhat new. Yes I agree. That is good. I know they have some USA made stuff which is good stuff too. I am also hoping SK is going to not be sold to someone overseas as it is for sale so I am hoping whoever buys it keeps it USA or I won’t be buying it anymore and it’s my 2nd favorite tool brand.I'm going to support Tekton with my money Craftsman was bought by investors that only want to turn a buck. That was my beef. I have the old us made black handle Craftsman industrial screwdrivers, I believe that's what they called them. They were very well made, nice screwdrivers. Two had to be warrantied and I was not thrilled with the much cheaper substitute replacements I got. They're like they screwdrivers in your picture. Those will end up in my painting business toolbox.Very nice I hear they are great. A must have for Japanese stuff. I still love my old Craftsman though those replacements they sent me just aren’t the same they don’t feel the same as the USA.
Those pliers are awesome!Try Japanes Engineer brand pliers, they are sort of specialized pliers but great to have and super useful. Vampire brand are rebranded Engineer and cost more.
Yeah they had the industrial and I think Professional too which were both really good. Hope you went directly through Craftsman so you didn’t have to turn them in.That was my beef. At the time I went through my local Sears. In a few months they'll be gone and I will do as you did with warranty issues, or just toss them if the replacement is going to be junk.Yeah they had the industrial and I think Professional too which were both really good. Yeah the ratchets they sent aren’t anything special really either. The sockets are decent they are made in Taiwan so far holding up ok. The acetate handle screwdrivers are Taiwan made too better than the China ones but not better than the USA.At the time I went through my local Sears.
