I don’t really understand the reason for that funnel - what’s the point?

I understand and appreciate the big ones for coolant, with all the adaptors. So thst you can really overfill and burp the system…

Ive never had an issue with oil funnels just sitting plainly with gravity in the fill hole. What am I missing?
Because on some vehicles like my 2014 Mustang GT with the 5.0 the oil fill hole is at an extreme angle and the fuse box is right next to it so a regular size funnel will not fit and a small funnel is not big enough to work. Before I got that funnel kit, I would have to put a small funnel in the hole and hold it in place with a larger funnel while pouring out of a gallon jug of oil while trying not to make a big mess. Not fun. The funnel kit makes it much easier and cleaner.

For difficult fills, I use a pressure vessel with a hose. With a valve in the line to control flow.

E.G. Tundra transmission fill port, on the side of the trans, blocked by the body from above and to the side.

You would need a five foot funnel.

Or, fluid flowing through a line with a small nozzle.

It’s like it’s made for my application. My 7.3L gas has a 45 deg angle fill hole down on the valve cover. Need to use a flex or angled funnel. I’ve been using hay wire or zip ties to “secure” it but it’s not great. Once while filling the funnel tipped over spilling about a quart of oil all over my engine, what a mess.

It’s certainly not needed but it’s such a great solution, just makes life easier. If I were like most and only did a couple oil changes a year I probably wouldn’t bother but I’m doing a oil change every month or two. I’ve had this truck 26 months and I’ve done around 20 oil changes so this will bring me joy often.

Bonus points if you know what this tool is. Works great, well worth the $11 paid for it.

I spent considerable time trying to figure out a way to bring hand tools with me and finally landed on the cheap tstak tool box system. 1 large lower drawer, 1 general top box. Both have handles for short travel to a work location. Next to it is a cheap milk crate to hold jumper cables or larger tools. Will know more in a few months of use how things go.

Nice set up.
With the "Dewalt" logo facing out towards the window, may want to cover the logo up for potential thieves. Regardless of it containing expensive items, Dewalt is typically desirable for thieves. It sucks but its a reality.

You cant beat gas powered OPE.
I think for a smaller yard, area , it would work. I have way too much, i was foolish to buy the ryobi 40v, with my property. I did it because the attachments from my old husqvarna would fit.

The brush blade head, just kills the battery. I killed a battery in a bit over a year.

The commercial trimmer has more power and run time for me.
