So Im looking to paint the new shed floor. I don't know what I should go with to keep it protected. Mainly from oil, gas and water ( melted snow here and there.) Oil may end up cracking but latex would stand a chance with gas. Anyone been down this road?

Now is the time before you get any ope oil or gas soaked into the wood. I used glidden floor and porch paint. Its been a few years and i need to recoat it.
Have you considered using an oil based stain or just linseed oil to seal it from moisture? Would look good and would not chip or peel.
I used BLO on the wood floor of my shed some years ago and it seems to preserve the wood, but does not protect it particularly well from oil spills. Neither would the oil based stain, but it would make it look better. Its gonna get stained eventually anyway so go with what is easiest for you. Personally, I like the idea of the stain...easy to roll on and recoat later.
You could probably use some sort of epoxy that would resist/repell oil stains. Depends on how much you want it to look pretty.

I would use an oil based stain. A paint film can peel and/or get slippery.

That's what I'd do too. Just make sure the floor is dry and apply it on a dry day when temps are 50F or above, and will remain that way for about a week.

I'd try mineral spirits, if that doesn't work try sanding it out. An oil based solid stain should do a pretty good job hiding it once you clean it up.
