Pretty good in my size for $6.28 on Amazon. Looked it up, the name synthetic+ is misleading, the media is a synthetic blend. I wonder if it is the same as a Microgard Select as it has the same efficiency.
Of course there is one thing wrong for choosing if one cares about it. The country.

The country I don't like but they are proven and used by many here.
We have c&ps on here of these

I was looking for a full synthetic under $8.47 as someone said the topic filter isn’t great for the price as it is synthetic blend. But when I looked at Ecogard the label suggests synthetic and promising, but it’s a blend.
In fact are any of theses PG filters full synthetic? I don’t know enough about them.

There are many threads here on these by people that have used them for years. Many cut jobs and this link explains the product in detail and you can contact them directly on your model required etc.

I looked up S241 before I wrote. No need for me to call.
https://ecogard.com/filter-lookup-search-catalog/product-page/S241/2026-Ford-Maverick/Oil-Filter/

My question was do any PG made filters use full synthetic media? this one doesn’t, but its good at $6.29 and fits my vehicle, which of course is not a 2026Maverick. Putting S241 in and search it came up with 2026 Maverick on its own.

I've got two Mobil 1 filters ready for use. How can you tell who the manufacturer is? I bought them several months back at Walmart and the date of manufacture on both filters is 2021.
More than likely they were made by Champion Laboratories; I’m still new to this site, but from what I gathered it’s not a favorite at the moment. Could be wrong though about Champs popularity.
M+H made the older Mobil 1 filters, not Champ Labs. They are under the Highline Warren umbrella now.

I still think they’re made by the same company but just moved their operations to S. Korea for whatever reason.
Highline Warren having them made in S. Korea or some in Vietnam too I believe. M+H is not the responsible any more. Highline Warren is shown on Mobil's website ad the company responsible for Mobil 1 oil filer warranty. It use to be shown as M+H, but M+H is out of the Mobil 1 oil filter game now.

As for M1 manufacturer, most recent M1 before current PG made not by made by M&H Puro. Champ Labs was prior to that, but it's been a while since then.
New Mobil 1 has no connection to PGI. They look similar to the PGI filter construction, but it's Highline Warren who's responsible for the new Mobil 1 oil filters. From the Mobil 1 website, oil filters info. It use to say Mann+Hummel when M+H made them.

Depends on perspective

One auto mechanic from Europe told me that they always consider US made filters as lowest quality and chipset made, right after chinese and asian. Of course top of the line are European brands

@KCJeep helpful check marks really don't mean what you think they do.
They are only the green emojis he can find from the choices given....

More info on PGI vs Highline Warren. Highline Warren has a "Prime Guard" brand filter. But that's different than the "Premium Guard" branded filters made under PGI (Premium Guard Inc).

They are separate companies with different ownership and operations. Highline Warren's Prime Guard is a specific brand within their broader product portfolio. Premium Guard Inc. is a separate company that may offer competitive products.

Edit - Pentius oil filters are also made in S. Korea, but Pentius is also it's own entity. But possible that the new Mobil 1 made in S. Korea under Highline Warren might also be made at the same filter company as the Pentius brand oil filters. I'm thinking those factories make many brands, all with similar construction, for various distributors.
