Pretty good in my size for $6.28 on Amazon. Looked it up, the name synthetic+ is misleading, the media is a synthetic blend. I wonder if it is the same as a Microgard Select as it has the same efficiency.
The country I don't like but they are proven and used by many here.Pretty good in my size for $6.28 on Amazon. Looked it up, the name synthetic+ is misleading, the media is a synthetic blend. I wonder if it is the same as a Microgard Select as it has the same efficiency.
Of course there is one thing wrong for choosing if one cares about it. The country.
I was looking for a full synthetic under $8.47 as someone said the topic filter isn’t great for the price as it is synthetic blend. But when I looked at Ecogard the label suggests synthetic and promising, but it’s a blend. The country I don't like but they are proven and used by many here.
We have c&ps on here of these
There are many threads here on these by people that have used them for years. Many cut jobs and this link explains the product in detail and you can contact them directly on your model required etc.I was looking for a full synthetic under $8.47 as someone said the topic filter isn’t great for the price as it is synthetic blend. In fact are any of theses PG filters full synthetic? I don’t know enough about them.
I looked up S241 before I wrote. No need for me to call. There are many threads here on these by people that have used them for years. Many cut jobs and this link explains the product in detail and you can contact them directly on your model required etc.

I've got two Mobil 1 filters ready for use. How can you tell who the manufacturer is? I bought them several months back at Walmart and the date of manufacture on both filters is 2021.
M+H made the older Mobil 1 filters, not Champ Labs. They are under the Highline Warren umbrella now.More than likely they were made by Champion Laboratories; I’m still new to this site, but from what I gathered it’s not a favorite at the moment. Could be wrong though about Champs popularity.
Highline Warren having them made in S. Korea or some in Vietnam too I believe. M+H is not the responsible any more. Highline Warren is shown on Mobil's website ad the company responsible for Mobil 1 oil filer warranty. It use to be shown as M+H, but M+H is out of the Mobil 1 oil filter game now.I still think they’re made by the same company but just moved their operations to S. Korea for whatever reason.
New Mobil 1 has no connection to PGI. They look similar to the PGI filter construction, but it's Highline Warren who's responsible for the new Mobil 1 oil filters. From the Mobil 1 website, oil filters info. It use to say Mann+Hummel when M+H made them.As for M1 manufacturer, most recent M1 before current PG made not by made by M&H Puro. Champ Labs was prior to that, but it's been a while since then.
My question was do any PG made filters use full synthetic media?
Depends on perspectiveThe country I don't like but they are proven and used by many here.

Mann+Hummel is a Eruo brand, that I wouldn't consider "top of the line".Of course top of the line are European brands
Of course top of the line are European brands
More info on PGI vs Highline Warren. Highline Warren has a "Prime Guard" brand filter. But that's different than the "Premium Guard" branded filters made under PGI (Premium Guard Inc).New Mobil 1 has no connection to PGI. They look similar to the PGI filter construction, but it's Highline Warren who's responsible for the new Mobil 1 oil filters.
Nothing about efficiency was said. Quality issues with US made filters, and they prefer using European made onesbut they actually are not..
Their efficiencies are mostly lower than the average top filters.
