Sorry I cut this. For my 24 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2L this will work
In applications suited to Fram 7317 flavors.
A work of art. Pre-lubricated baseplate seal and the baseplate is super smooth and deburred and I have never seen one finer.

The adbv is a perfection fit on both sides. It actually snap fits in place.
The filter media is very consistent and by design no glue on the face and remarkably spotless.

No overspray in the can and rather thick. The bpv. spring fits extremely well and is under a great deal of compression in the can... so much so it's hard to replicate by hand.

The bpv. itself is a nice design that does not wobble or shift.

The baseplate threads are dull and clean.

The design itself is very modular avoiding glue issues and potential debris. Impressive filter. $10 and in volume $8 each

looking at a 5 PK on ebay for $37 w/ free shipping.
That's where I got mine
I mentioned the price above because if you want one your at $10 shipped if you use Amazon.
I actually got mine 5 for $35 on sale but had tax of course added.. Free shipping..So great deal.

With the exception of Toyota Thai Denso adbv color, internals look identical. Wonder if it would pass a flashlight test.

Thanks for c&p.
It did and is more compressed than you can do by hand once cut. So yes!

I am a EG and PG fan but this is better because it doesn't require glue to be assembled and as far as Fram the efficency doesn't matter because of the Fram flaws

Only ask because WCW tested the Toyota Denso OEM, didn't pass. No disputing it looks well made.
It did for me and I'm not familiar with the other test but I know if one slightly failed it's about impossible by hand to compress the can back together.. the way the filter is designed the media ends have a lip that the bpv spring could flush up once fully compressed and that can't be duplicated unless you compressed it in a vice etc.

If you just throw the spring on the filter you get far less light then a Fram but that's not a comparison to the filter sealed in a can

With firm pressure the gap disappears.

Nice work Zee09. Love that blue adbv. Thank You

Here you go @Sayjac
Just like a cartridge filter thrown in a can. The sealant at both ends is highly translucent .
Here are closeups of me holding the media, flashlight, and bpv with very little pressure as I'm also taking the picture the bpv flushes and the light you see is the light shining through the sealant and not a gap.

The very bright light is going through the sealant where you have the media gaps and not a real void.

So you actually spent more than $4 for a filter.......:giggle:

I don't doubt you nor want to hijack your thread. I'll just say, if interested in WCW testing of Two Toyota Denso OEM, just Google "Flashlight Test Toyota OEM filter". Should be first vid option and you can see all the similarities between topic Mitsu and Toyota OEM.

I have seen that in the past but wasn't sure exactly and looked it up.
I'm totally happy with these
