Hey all, just bought some new pants and underwear. My wife says, unless noticeably dirty, I can wear the pants for a few days before laundering. Underwear she said I should only wear for a day before laundering. Well, I like to change my oil on my new car early...I mean, I want my pants and underwear to stay in the best shape possible. So I decided to remove my pants after wearing them for 3 hours and wash them along with my underwear. This has always worked for me and I have some pairs of pants that are like 7 years old with A LOT of miles on them.

Do you all recommend laundering your pants and underwear more frequently or every day for underwear and every few days for pants?

I thought these were all disposable items? When they get dirty, you just buy new ones...
Hmm...diapers...intrigue is setting in. I might buy a few brands and post some pics of how well they're constructed and how well they held up over a typical change interval. Do you recommend the adult diapers with synthetic media or fiber/cellulose media? Or does it depend on my change interval?

One of the smartest cheap skate purchases I've made was to stock up on Calvin Klein classic briefs during the pandemic. The are like $9 a pair now, they were about $2.75 then. I bought 8- 4 packs. Should be good for a while, guessing I have a lifetime supply considering the 18 pair that are still in active circulation.

Sorry: May seem Off Topic. I appologize up front to all or anyone this offends. I may be wrong but find this one questionable as to truth or trolling. With that said, I like most people , and I like to have fun when possible thru many things. Joking around is one of the ways. I figure folks are better off enjoying life (with cents of humour) than going around angry looking for any little thing to nit pick, fuss or argue about.

I want to thank the OP for making my day. It does not take much. I don't know why? I was gonna say maybe yet it is likely just me. But I got a ROTFLM_O (the _ is so no one has to come in and take the time to censor the suggestion of a bad word) when I read this. Again, thankful YET appologize if this is in no way meant to be funny by the OP. :ROFLMAO:

This is a joke right?

Glad it made your day. But seriously, even though Fruit of the Loom doesn't recommend changing my underwear early, I do it for peace of mind.

Look, this is an oil change interval proxy argument. It’s posing as humor, but that wasn’t really the intent.
