Was in a WM near my work the other day, and there are some interesting oil selection changes I thought I'd pass along.

WM no longer seems to carry gold-bottle Castrol Edge. Instead, they have expanded their black-bottle Edge SPT offerings, they now have Edge SPT 0W-20 and the new Edge SPT 0W-40 in both quarts and larger jugs!

Yea, noticed that the other day too!
Did you check the motorcycle section? Over here they added Valvoline VR1 racing and another one, I think a SOPUS synthetic racing oil, on top of the Mobil 1 MX4T 10w40 ester synth. Excellent candidates for "doping" my PCMOs with

In the store here that they are just finishing the expansion on in preparation for the arrival of a new Target store slated to open this fall they are also now stocking in the motorcycle/ATV oil section Castrol Power RS racing in 10w-50 and also Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil 20W-50 dino version which I have not seen them carry up in Canada before.

Yeah. They have Belgian castrol, valvoline all fleet which I've never seen before. All traces of fram are gone. A few new bike oils.
Now if only M1 0w-40 in jugs on rollback and I would drive the forklift over.

They still have some SM/GF-4 stuff on "closeout" at about $13.88 a litre.

Great price that is..... Except not really.
That is the reason I have never used Edge.

And I suspect they'll continue to accumulate dust so long as everything else is cheaper on regular price, much less the regular rollbacks. Hmmm, should I buy 1 litre of Castrol Edge SM/GF-4 at $13.88, or 4.73 L of PP for $24.88? It's not a hard decision. Even M1 EP or RP at regular price is more economical.
