Up until very recently, NAPA Platinum filters appeared to still be made by Mann+Hummel with unimpressive quality and lack luster performance.

NAPA appears to be following CarQuests/Advanced Autos lead in having Premium Guard produce a mesh-backed high performance filter. This go around, instead of a black canister and red ADBV like CarQuest, NAPA has opted for a gray canister and blue ADBV.

It’s good to see companies willing and actively improving on their available filtration offerings.

Looks like they're claiming 99%@20um on their flyer.
Emphasis mine below.

Engineered in U.S.A. 😅

* Filters were conditioned to simulate a 25,000 mile travel period then tested per ISO 4548-12. Follow OEM-recommended oil change intervals. Mileage claim based on use with synthetic oils.** Where applicable *** Performance tested per ISO 4548-12 at 20 µm.

Sounds right. 99% at 20 microns would equal 99.5% at 25 microns(I think) which is the same for the CarQuest EP. The 10k miles PGI filters are 99.5% at 20 microns.

I think most(all?) manufacturers have that disclaimer about OCIs

Looks like they are going to be around $15.99. When I looked up my 1st gen tundra. But always good to have options to those that want to spend that kind of coin on a oil filter.
