Hey, finally landed a job a company called MTD. It's a division company and there they make lawnmowers, snowblowers, weedwackers etc... I'll be working at one of there distribution warehouses as a hoist driver. I always did thought that driving a hoist would be cool.

I'm really happy and looking forward to this job. I'll help out to in the summer time when I try out my cheapie oil with LC test this spring and summer. The main division of MTD is here in Willard and there they actually make the lawnmowers and such. At the warehouses they store equipment and ship them out to wherever they need to be. I'll be loading and unloading trucks and moving product around from destination to destination. I can't wait to start!!,,,AR

Congratulations!

Congrats AR! Best of luck in your new endeavor. MTD makes some fine, very reasonably priced equipment. I've had an MTD 8hp snowblower for about 9 years and it has never given me a bit of trouble, cuts through 2 ft. of snow like butter and cost a 200.00 - 400.00 less than a Toro, Snapper or Ariens of the same size. Needless to say, I'm very happy with it.

Just thought you might like to know the company that your working for makes some good stuff.

Thanks guys,

Jelly- They have a variety of names, but they all mean the same thing. Hoist, tow motor, forklift. All the same thing. Big 2 loooong iron forks in front of them for lifting pallots of loads and moving stock. Powered by 1.8L chevy engines that run on propane. Not sure what oil they take.

LOL pablo, If they do I'm sure it's MTD 30wt oil or something. I don't think MTD makes there own oil. Thanks again all,,,,,AR

MTD sells oil, but I'm sure they don't make it. I've had MTD products for several years now. They work well for the money but one must not abuse them....they will break fairly easily.
I had a job driving a forklift. I unloaded trucks filled with aircraft parts. It is kind of fun for the most part. It can get tough when it's hot in the summer....you can stick to the seat!

Hey, my freebie, trash picked snowblower is an MTD with a 2 cycle, 3 hp Tecumseh engine. Tough little machine. Good luck, AR.
