Yeah I know this is a somewhat heavily debated topic. I've read both sides and I still think there might be something to why Honda didn't alter the specifications even though the S2 was produced until 2009. It could just be they didn't care or were lazy, but they switched the Honda Fit from 5w20 to 0w20 mid-run, so who knows. Besides, I only put about 1000 miles a year on the car, so it doesn't really matter what I run in there. Switched from M1 just to try something new, and I think the M1 was burning slightly (common on AP1s).
