New home inspection to do list or must do list. And home general question.

Ive installed many Wi-fi door locks in my lifetime. The above post from @Nukeman7 is a good lock, also Schlage WiFi door locks are right there on the same level.

With that said, our new home came with a "smart package" being my experience in the industry I Was impressed with the overall package. It was all name brand good quality stuff, even though I changed some stuff out (another story) it wasnt for functionality.

One thing I REALLY took a liking to was something I didnt know existed. Its not that cheap either (considering it was supplied by the builder)

It's called Level Lock. WE LOVE IT. Simple clean install, amazingly it is exactly like a regular deadbolt lock. Yet, all the electronics of a Bluetooth/WiFi deadbolt. I also have the plug in accessory which is super SIMPLE to program. Meaning you plug the Bluetooth to WiFI adapter into a nearby electrical outlet, even in another nearby room for the bluetooth of the deadbolt to work with your WiFi. Without that adapter you can only use the deadbolt with your phone app right next to the door or a key. With the Bluetooth/Wifi plug in adapter you can remotely from anyplace in the world really lock and unlock the door.

We are getting close to the 2 year mark of use and its operation has been flawless. It even once in a very great while sent an over the air update. Im actually impressed and that isnt easy to do. I see the some updates to their newest model and offer the options at the bottom of the page.

I have a Schlage Encode WiFi deadbolt. Doesn't get much use as we enter and exit through the garage but I like it and it integrates with Ring and other platforms. Remote unlock and locking for visitors, as well as individualized entry codes is a nice feature. Also has a forced entry alarm.

I prefer the Kwikset electronic deadbolts with a companion lever handle latch that can be operated with a traditional key, electronic touchpad or Smartphone. Kwikset offers the Smartkey feature which allows you to change or match existing keys without having to elicit the services of a locksmith. Kwikset and Schlage are the brands that can be found anywhere in the USA and any locksmith/hardware store can service them with in-stock parts.

Here is a Kwikset Halo Touchscreen Lock with Lever Handle that offers features that I find useful.
I was looking at that early on Amazon,
