How do UOAs prove that M1 is the superior oil, or the best oil for that matter? And what about QSUD is substandard? It seems to have all the certifications is advertises and requires, including SN/GF-5 and dexos1, as needed.

And yes, the statement is very far fetched.

Quite what?? Quite quiet??

We're obviously being trolled as no newbie would likely know what QSUD stands for...

In 49 years of vehicle ownership I've never seen same grade oils of different brands that sounded different(yes between 5W-20 & 10W-40 a difference can be noticeable)... I've used QS, had the UD in both Grand Marquis a couple years back, and my beater F-150 has seen a couple changes with GB... At moment it has 10W-30 Rotella and the Mercs 5W-30 M-1, all sounded same to me...

QSUD is a fine choice. I used it exclusively for a few years. A dealer fed '13 Accord in my family receives bulk QSUD and is about to pass the warranty stage; no concerns with that oil whatsoever.

My 2010 Hyundai 2.4l (97k+ on clock) book recommends QS, and has 5w-20 on the fill cap.
Been using 5w-30 PYB, still original engine.

So QSUD is false and untested?

You're on a roll of making zombie posts today.

No, you speak unsubstantiated garbage with no supporting facts whatsoever.

LOL really?.... I mean REALLY? Come on now, my mother has a 1989 SBC that has 262,000 miles no engine work besides replacing the valves seals that were a bad design, under warranty, and get this, its had absolutely no synthetic oil once in its life. Ive used M1 many times in the past, its great stuff, however, so are many other oils.
