New Durablend or just a new bottle?

I was at walmart the other day and saw a new Durablend. Either that or it was just a new label on the bottle. I didn't really pay attention since it's just Valvoline.

I think it was for "Tough Conditions" or something like that. Marketing at it's best.

I saw the new Durablend bottles and thought they said they met SM. I noticed only the 5w30 and 10w30 in the new bottles. 10w40 was the old bottle.

Also saw the new Synpower bottles for 10w30. Has a picture of a tachometer on the front, behind the new lettering with a big SYN above POWER.

5w30 Durablend was the first SM I've seen, the only things else we have up here is Castrol GTX.

I ran across the SM Durablend at a Walmart supercenter. Not much to comment on, other than the extra sticky label, until the new SM/GF-4 data sheet for Durablend is available.

If the API SM donut cannot be displayed until November, are the updated data sheets listing an SM approval delayed until this date?
