Reveal to come soon, don't think I can say the date, and if its publicly released but it won't be long that it is. I know someone who will be there.

Big deal event, USA made in Spartanburg.
(my impression of the following) The media reports up top 5 powertrains (eventually) Im not sure what will be revealed, though I think to start might be gas or hybrid, maybe EV for Europe? Have no clue. The only other 3 versions I can imagine are all diesel and hydrogen. Nothing but speculation what will eventually happen or be revealed soon. As production will start up this summer.
Even based on this blog below, it's pretty amazing the variety of options and powertrains offered by BMW and solely manufactured here in Spartanburg SC.
Irconally an extended version may be made for China. Take all this as speculation, except for the fact, production will start up this summer and event to announce it coming in a short period of time.

Starting M$RP of $87,500…..? Granted, we’re living in the era of 6 figure Suburbans so…..
No that is too high, think the mid 70's
However so true, 6 figure Suburbans OR if you live here near the cost, a reasonable starting price of some of these pick up trucks here!
I have this childhood fantasy of wanting one of these pick ups and looking around seeing prices... I think it might aways be a fantasy, part of that is also the practicality of what do I do with a pick up vs ... an enclosed SUV.

As far as trucks go, even used the values are just nuts.

I think I've landed more in your final choice there. I've never really cared for SUVs with how they look or drive and while my crossover is on the small side of anything you can call that, for space and practicality it's hard to choose another form factor after having one. At minimum if I went back to another small car it would be a GTI or Golf R for the traditional hatch. A little car with a trunk just isn't enough the vast majority of the time especially putting the whole family in it. Even the GTI was tight for all of us, though it was perfect for my commute. My F150 was great, but even then most of the time I had a rubber liner in the bed and a tonneau cover on to basically use the back like a trunk. Probably wasn't the best choice for my use, but the bed definitely nice to have when I needed it.
