New cat I have gotten

She's a beauty - those eyes! For the first 60 or so years of my life, I never cared for cats; I was a dog guy. The my 23 year-old daughter moved in with us, and she had TWO cats, solid black, a mama cat and her daughter kitten. A friend of my daughter's "adopted" the kitten, and we still have Mama. As I began to understand cats a little better, I fell in love, as Mama is sweet and playful and loving, and almost immediately became an important part of our famiy. Fit right in with our dog and our old cockatiel. Now I can't imagine life without her, and I think I'll always have a cat.

We were adopted by these two, inside is Daisy adopted 12 years ago, and outside is Roxie adopted 7 years ago.

Nice!
We had a feral cat adopt us. Maybe a year old, he roamed the neighborhood and ran from people. I always talked to him though he kept his distance. One day I was doing brakes in the driveway and he came up and jumped in my lap. Started purring.
Ended up taking him to the vet to be fixed and shots. He loved my wife and me, but would hiss and run from anyone else. Old age took him.
