Looks like the AT2 from several years back. They were a good $60 tire. For $400 each they better do more than just roll down the highway.Only on Bitog will you catch flak for a $2,000 tire purchase.

Rage bait much? Lol. If you seriously think how a tire “looks” makes much practical difference, you have a lot of research to do.Looks like the AT2 from several years back. They were a good $60 tire. For $400 each they better do more than just roll down the highway.
We take it up to Wisconsin a couple times a year but otherwise the majority of the miles are from shuttling kids around locally to activities. The Suburban wore them too, but unfortunately got totaled in an accident before the LTXs got any amount of miles on them.Does she drive highway miles? While I was a fleet manager, I found front outside wear to be an issue. After up fitting, I would get the trucks aligned. But same issue. Tried putting a 2 000 lb load in, when going on the alignment rack, behind the rear axle, to simulate a nose higher highway speed profile. That helped alot with the issue.
All tire tests claim the 03 is better in almost all categories - along the lines of 15% better …We take it up to Wisconsin a couple times a year but otherwise the majority of the miles are from shuttling kids around locally to activities. Stay inside above 50% chance of rainhaving run aggressive AT's and MT's for years I would rotate them every 5000 miles. I actually rotate mine every 3000 miles to keep perfect wear. weigh your rig with normal weight and passengers and use this chart for psi. even at 35psi you would be good for ~7680lbs and 40psi over 8400lbs

never had an issue. I have been driving since the early 70's.Stay inside above 50% chance of rain![]()
How do you know that Continentals will stop 40ft shorter in wet conditions, from Continental’s website? They are exceptional off road tire. That is why I asked that question.
I mean yes, they are $400 but $150 cheaper Continental will stop 40ft shorter in wet conditions.
BFG and Continental in wet performance cannot go into the same sentence. How do you know that Continentals will stop 40ft shorter in wet conditions, from Continental’s website?
Show us.
While you’re at it, explain why putting KO3s on a Yukon is a “vanity project”.
Well, it is a GM, there are a lot of questionable choices there.Do you have a message for GM that offer KO3s as an option on light trucks and SUVs?
I just made a comment that for that purpose there are better choices.@edyvw, what are you trying to accomplish?
It's not as if he can return his tires based on your comments. Even if he did, Tire Rack only tests new tires, not used ones.
He bought a quality tire, and life isn't all about min-maxing or splitting hairs.
I doubt performance increases have anything to do with tire prices going through the roof. A $400 tire is no better than the $60 one from a few years back. Today we see a move towards more profit without selling more product.Rage bait much? Lol. If you seriously think how a tire “looks” makes much practical difference, you have a lot of research to do.
I would argue the $60 theoretical tire you speak of is more than a few years back. 15-20 years back? Sure. Inflation (whether legitimate or profit seeking) has touched all sectors, tires are no different. A $60 tire in that size today would be junk.I doubt performance increases have anything to do with tire prices going through the roof. A $400 tire is no better than the $60 one from a few years back. Yeah, the KO3 is a fairly new tire - but I’m curious how far back that a 315 KO2 was $60. Yes, mine were $404/each and that’s without certificates …I would argue the $60 theoretical tire you speak of is more than a few years back. 15-20 years back? Sure.
