Hello all! Hope the Holiday season is starting off well.
I have windows 7, and used the snipping tool feature (windows 7 version of screen shots) and wanted to email the picture. My Hotmail email account come up, and I typed in the address I wanted to send it to. The email said it could not be sent. I tried sending just some random text only emails to people and they will not send. What do I need to do to fix this?
Also, Could I just change the default email account on my laptop to say Yahoo or something (so when I do snipping tool or just want to email a pic I can do it quickly) or not?
When I crank up the computer all my windows live/hotmail stuff comes up and It saves me from logging in to yahoo because it commes up automaticly.
Thanks,

I'm assuming you have an [email protected] or [email protected] email account already set up?

Are you trying to send the message from within a Windows Live program on your hard drive, or are you trying to send your message from hotmail.com?

I have moved completely away from mail software tied to a physical machine, and do all my email on the internet now (GMail and Windows Live Mail). I like it that way a lot better.

Yes, my address is like what you posted here, and yes im trying to do it from a program on my hard drive.
Im with you to, I think doing it via internet is better, but I am just wondering if I can fix this.

I'm sure if we were both sitting in front of the system, we could figure it out. Sorry I can't be of more assistance. I guess for now you can send the email from the internet.

Easier way:

get Printkey2000 and when you take screenshots, it will help you save as JPG images. Then you can do whatever you want with them - email, save on HD or delete.

Just hit PRTSCN on the keyboard. Open Paint or any other freakin' image editing program and hit paste.

Voila. Then save in whatever format you want.

Or that
