Napa Proselect oil filter cut open.

Well I bought oil filter cutter on Amazon, and it wouldn't go small enough to cut a Nissan filter, and it ended up breaking.. that will be returned. First filter cut open was a (Napa pro select it had 60 pletes, nitrile rubber anti drain back valve it came off my 2013 Ford Edge 3.5, it only had about a thousand miles on it, reason why I took it off was because I just did my water pump, timing chains and the components also the oil pump. So I just wanted to get all the metal out of there. Oil that was in there was 5W20 Napa full synthetic, oil that went back in, was Mobil 1 5W20 with a WIX XP filter

Same here! works on all sizes I have cut from FL400 to my Cummins MO-285 Filter.

No I didn't even attempt to, to be honest.. I didn't even pay attention to if it could be moved, it just said that it could do 2 3/4 inch filters to 5-in filters..

It was a decent looking filter, you better didn't have a silicone anti drain back valve. It had better spacing than a the Fram

I may start running Chinese filters, they have much tighter pleats, and it seems like better quality control. From what I have seen on here.. but the Fram Endurance looks pretty nice.
